Services and Fees
Core PC Solutions provides a wide range of technical services. Here I’ll outline an overview of services rendered and various options. Due to the broad range of opportunities out there it would be extremely difficult to list everything in one place. If you don’t see it listed here, contact us and we’ll make a deal.
On-Site / In Home Services:
- Diagnostics and troubleshooting: $20 (credited to repair work during same visit only)
- System Repair/Virus Inoculation/Clean-up/Configuration: $45 per hour + Parts
- Network Setup/Configuration: $45 per hour + Parts
- New PC Setup: $40
- Data Transfer (Old PC to New PC): $80
In Shop / Pick and Drop Off:
- Diagnostics and troubleshooting: $0, FREE
- System Repair/Virus Inoculation/Clean-up/Configuration: $60 + Parts
- Operating System Install: $40 / $80 (This depends on whether the machine has a restore partition)
- Laptop DC Jack Replacement: $60 + Parts
- Custom Built PC: $100 + Parts
Hardship PC Support and Repair:
- Hardship repairs are free of charge and parts are at cost.

Hardware: Core PC Solutions works with many distributors to find the best pricing and quality components for all services. Our work is guaranteed for 30 days on all hardware repairs and 90 days on all new equipment purchases.
Software: Software services (i.e. Virus Inoculation, Clean-up) are guaranteed for 30 days only if avast! antivirus products are used. Due to the unreliable nature of other antivirus and malware services we cannot guarantee protection after a cleanup with these products.
Unless otherwise scheduled all services are first in, first on the bench. If a job is expected to take a long time (i.e. waiting parts or data recovery) the system will be moved to the side so other jobs can be completed until the delay is handled. Scheduled appointments for on site and in home services take precedence over shop jobs. In all cases, services are completed as quickly as possible and with the highest quality of service.
